Yesterday, as you know, they launched the Orion EFT-1 spacecraft to do a test of the design. I was supposed to be down there, but other obligations here put an end to that. The excitement of it all, so early in the day, pretty much exhausted me.
I'm finding out more and more about why I exhaust so easily under certain circumstances. Apparently it's common for people with autism to hit bottom pretty hard, and I am no exception. As I've grumbled before, this information would have done me some good a long time ago.
Add to that the fact that I am indeed sick as well. Could be a cold, could be the flu, could be a serious sinus infection, I don't know. Normally, I'd make a trip to the doctor, but, no insurance. And that whole no money thing. I'll muddle through this, I always do.
I've chosen a direction for the story of Zho. You'll be seeing it soon enough.

I too have been under the weather. Started with draining sinuses on Wednesday, until it reached a full fledged cough and achiness today. I have once again wasted my only day off trying to recuperate from illness.
ReplyDeleteAdd to that some intense depression lately (lost Amy, 2 year anniversary of my uncle dying, lack of a job not better performed by trained chimps...) and I can certainly understand.
